This traps the surface water against your skin and dramatically improves how hydrated you feel by mid-afternoon. Oils applied to bone-dry skin sink in less and can feel greasier.

Body oil vs body lotion vs body butter – which is best?

Oils seal in moisture and give a glow but need damp skin to work best; lotions are lighter and quick for daytime; butters are richest for very dry zones. Will body oil transfer onto my clothes?
