BEAUTY HACKS FOR THE TIME-POOR

Here are our top beauty hacks & products to make you look purely polished in 10 minutes flat!

ALL-PURPOSE BASE

Start with an easy-to-apply yet high performing base product to even out your skin tone and give you decent coverage in the nick of time. Even if you don’t have the time to get out your brushes, the Hush Dotti Liquid Foundation ($72.95) is a great option to create a nice medium-to-full coverage. Not too dewy and not too matte, this foundation suits a myriad of skin types and blends easily. It can be applied all over with your fingers or a brush and built easily in particular areas that need a little extra (think under eyes, around nose, any spots etc). Buildable means you can make this work if you don’t have time for a concealer! Bonus points for all the skin-loving ingredients in this as well – aloe, squalene, shea butter and more.

THE MULTI-TASKERS

Choose multi-tasking products that you can use quickly and for more than one purpose. Think cream products – cream stick blush that can be used on lips as well and cream stick bronzer that doubles as a contour or even an eye colour! Our favourite multi-taskers are the Vapour Cream Stick – Solar Translucent Bronze in ‘Simmer’ ($51.50) for bronzing cheeks, contouring under the cheekbone and even for the eyes. The Vapour Cream Stick Multi-Use Classic in ‘Intrigue’ ($51.50) is a delicious peachy pink luminescent blush and lip colour that also gives a bit of radiance with super fine and natural golden flecks (no need for that extra highlight!). This one is a favourite amongst the NARS ‘Orgasm’ lovers as it imparts the same luminescent suits-everyone peachy pink. Our favourite cream eye products will have your eyes blended to perfection in no time. Choosing cream products for your eyes when you're in a hurry means that you'll save time blending as cream blends seamlessly and looks natural with minimal effort, and you can use your fingers. The Au Naturale Crème de la Crème eye colour in ‘Saddle’ ($32.95) is a nice chocolatey brown which can be applied sheer and blended easily or built for more depth of colour. Vapour Mesmerize Eye Cream Colour ($31.50) in ‘Ace’ is the perfect everyday taupe which will become a staple in your makeup bag for ease of use and colour wearability – the pretty tone makes eyes pop.

KISS ME QUICK

For lips, we love a hydrating product with a bit of colour so there’s no need to apply a balm and a lippie. The Beauty Archive Lip Pots ($45.95) are nourishing, organic and vegan so lips love them.
